We like to take every opportunity to talk about technology, and last week was no exception.

We were delighted to exhibit at a Technology Showcase hosted by Liverpool John Moores University. The event was to support Cheshire & Warrington (CW4.0) which helps SMEs in the area to accelerate opportunities for growth and investment using digital technology. It builds on the work we’re doing with LCR4.0 which has a similar objective across the Liverpool region.

Our role at the event was to support LJMU’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology by demonstrating a range of digital technology with industrial relevance. We made live demonstrations in the field of IIOT (Industrial Internet of Things) which is a particular focus for our clients in the manufacturing sector.

Rob Holmes, our MD, said: “We very much enjoyed being part of this event which was attended by a host of businesses that want to use technology to do things differently. It is always illuminating to hear about the challenges these businesses face in harnessing the power of technology to achieve efficiencies and serve their customers better.”

The event included a welcome address by Professor Mark Power, Vice Chancellor, LJMU and a talk on Transforming your business with digital technology by Anthony Walker, Strategic Manager of the CW4.0.
